The life of each of us is made up of encounters that sometimes leave a special mark on our lives, giving us new visions and new unexpected goals. Mission that the Franciscan Fathers, Custodes of the Holy Land, have been carrying out since St. Francis reached that land 800 years ago. Father Ibrahim Faltas, nicknamed “the Iron Custos”, today parish priest of Jerusalem, is the person who inspired me and gave me the start.

The cross depicted here takes up the original cross from station no. 12 on the Via Dolorosa, now kept in the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
